Trips

2009 has seen SUSAC on some great trips - and there's more still to come! Details can be found on our Facebook area. Contact the trip organiser for further information, or to book a place! Happy Diving .

Lets go diving!

From Easter right through to September SUSAC has trips running almost every weekend. We dive throughout the UK, all year round; Summer weekends in 2009 has seen us visit the Farne Islands, Pembrokeshire, The Clyde, Berwickshire (lots!) & Dartmouth. We’ve had so much fun we’re extending our diving season well into October with more visits to Berwickshire and Anglesey coming up. We also run week long expenditions further afield whenever we can - this year we’ve taken 20+ to Malta and to the Sound of Mull for a Mediterranean Spring and a glorious Scottish summer. Whether you after diving with basking sharks and life covered wrecks off Scotland, playing with seals in Northumberland, dancing with cuttlefish off the South West and Crayfish and Nudibranch spotting off Wales SUSAC trips will offer variety and enjoyment.

We try to cater for everyone's tastes and budgets, with scenic dives and wreck dives, boat dives and shore dives, camping trips and B&B trips... and there is always a good pub nearby!

The summer's Open Water diving traditionally kicks off with our big club trip every Easter. In 2008 & 2009 SUSAC ventured abroad, taking large numbers of divers (and a baby) away to enjoy a fun filled week in the sun of Gozo, Malta. Arrangements for 2010 are well underway.

Popular weekend / week long trips over the last few years have included St Abbs and Eyemouth Marine reserve, the Farne Islands, Dunbar, Plymouth, Weymouth, Scapa Flow, Lochaline, Pembrooke, the Firth of Clyde, Dartmouth, Anglesea & Gozo. And if you fancy travelling further afield, SUSAC divers have informally organised trips to destinations including Malta, Egypt, Norway and the Scilly Isles. If you want to dive there, someone else will too - so let us know and we'll plan a trip!
